Family Nights at Josephine

Josephine has a long tradition of family gatherings. Several times a year, family members are invited to join their Josephine resident for a delicious dinner and entertainment. These events usually coincide with holiday celebrations such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, October Fest, and St. Patricks Day. The multi-purpose room is setup with dining tables and the meal is served buffet style. The food selection compliments the holiday theme. Staff attendants assist residents with special dietary needs.

In addition, each month Josephine honors a "Resident of the Month". A special invitation is given to the honorees family to attend the family night. The residents life and accomplishments are profiled and a photo display is created in their honor. The photo display hangs for one month in the main lobby.

It is an opportunity for families to join together in fellowship and fun. Staff and residents swing to the "oldies". Children get in on the fun too. It enables residents to maintain contact with special friends and family members.

There are usually two dinner sittings ... 5:00pm and 6:00pm. Seating is reserved only.

Reservations are required prior to the family night, and can be obtained from the front desk office.

Musical Entertainment and dancing follow the 6:00PM dinner hour.
