Josephine Bus Fleet

Josephine maintains a modern fleet of buses to serve it's residents. The bus fleet provides for a variety of scheduled outings, as well as transportation to medical appointments.

Scheduled Outings

The bus fleet permits Josephine to offer many practical and entertaining outings each month. The trips change each month so as to offer a wide variety of experiences. The monthly activity calendar lists all bus outings for each month.

Volunteers

Volunteers from the Stanwood community assist the residents on most bus trips. The volunteers assist the residents on and off the busses. They also enjoy lunch outings with the residents. If you would like to be a bus outing volunteer, contact the Josephine Activity Director.


Shopping excursions at Fred Meyer, Target, Wal-Mart, etc. Lunch opportunities at various restaurants like Olive Garden. Early morning breakfasts at local cafe's such as the Farm House Inn. Yummy desserts at getaways such as the Skagit Valley Gardens. Places & Events of Interest such as the Monroe Tractor Pull. Sports events such as the Aqua Sox and the Mariners Baseball. Summer picnics at local State Parks such as Kayak Point. Scenic Drives to view nature such as the Snow Geese and Marine View drives. Excursions such as the "Lights of Christmas" at Warm Beach, and the spring "tulip fields" in Mount Vernon. Fine Dining at local restaurants such as Anthony's Waterfront in Everett. Fun trips to places like the Angel of the Winds Casino.
