Josephine Suites Josephine Suites is a 55 unit apartment complex with assisted living services. Constructed in 1997, the Suites’ studio and one-bedroom units feature step-saving floor plans. Services provided include three meals a day, including snacks and beverages, weekly housekeeping, laundry for linen and personal clothing, weekly assistance with shower or bath. The Suites are staffed 24 hours a day by trained staff, and a licensed nurse is on site 24 hours a day. Residents of the Suites are an integral part of the Josephine community. Residents and their families and friends are cordially invited to take part in Josephine’s activities and excursions, and in the monthly Family Nights and other events. All areas of the facility, including the outdoor gardens, picnic areas and fountain court are completely wheelchair accessible. Each
unit in the Suite is equipped with a twin size bed, nightstand, and chair.
Residents are encouraged to personalize their rooms with family The Suites are a secure environment and include an emergency call system. Television antenna hookup is available at no additional charge. Each unit is also wired for telephone and cable television. These services are available from the local phone company and cable service providers. Josephine Suites also offers a wide range of personal care services, including assistance with medication or dressing. for additional cost. About our Staff The Suites staff pursue their work enthusiasm, professionalism and a lot of heart. All staff employed in the Suites are required to be NAC (Nursing Assistant Certified) or NAR (Nursing Assistant Registered) willing to become NAC. Staff must also complete first aid and CPR training, and also have a current Food Handlers Permit and a Fundamentals of Care Certificate. Staff must also complete Dementia Specialty Training, Mental Health Specialty Training. Each staff member is required to complete ten hours of continuing education every year. The staff’s first priority is always the residents. For Suites staff, hearing the residents’ stories, learning about their families and friends – getting to know the residents a little better each day – is one of the most important parts of the work.
