Many family members are caring for a loved one
with special needs in their home. Josephine Adult Day Program assists these
families by providing their loved one with quality time and quality care, giving
the caregiver a well-needed rest. The flexible design of this unique program
meets the changing needs of families in our community.
Professional Staff. Our experienced Certified Nursing Assistants provide appropriate one-on-one care. Licensed nurses, activities staff, and dietary staff also play an active role in the care and services provided. If needed, a social worker is available to offer the family support and referrals to additional resources.
Medication and Personal Care. Our experienced staff provides medication administration and supervision. In addition, we can assist loved ones with personal care - including bathing and nail care. For an extra fee, participants can visit our in-house beauty and barber shop.
Dining Services. Participants receive a light continental breakfast, a nutritious hot lunch and an afternoon snack. Our dietary department prepares delicious meals and can accommodate most dietary needs.

Socialization. We work with families to create customized programs that cater to an individual’s specific situation and needs. Our program offers many opportunities for socialization throughout the Josephine community. If desired, Josephine’s unique intergenerational setting provides daily opportunities for interacting with children as well. |

Activities & Programs. Day participants can keep busy with arts and crafts, music, pets, word games, bingo, exercise, bowling and much more. Josephine also hosts social hours throughout the week with food and entertainment. Beyond the regular weekly schedule, each month may include additional activities, both in and out of the facility. Participants and their families are also invited to attend our monthly family night celebrations. Fully recognizing that not all activities are for all people, participants are welcome and encouraged to pursue their personal interests. Our Adult Day Program has a separate lounge area, providing a comfortable, quiet space.
